I had an amazing experience volunteering in Ghana, and the tours organized during our stay were a true highlight. Everything was well planned, engaging, and gave us a deep insight into the local culture and daily life. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. The tours were not only fun but also meaningful, adding so much value to the overall volunteer experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an authentic experience in Ghana!

We did the Shai Hills and Volta river cruise day trip with Laud in early December and loved it. We booked it just a day in advance so felt really lucky that he could take us at such short notice. Very good communication beforehand via WhatsApp and then on the day of the tour, Laud was punctual, friendly and gave us a really good experience. Climbing the rocks at Shai Hills and seeing the zebras was a highlight. We were also delighted we got to see the Akosombo Dam from the boat trip. Would highly recommend to any visitors to Ghana. And also great that this supports the NGO that Laud leads.

I took Laud from TANF Ghana on a tour to Shai Hills Resource Reserve and Volta River in mid-November. It was a very nice and eventful day.

The experience in Ghana with TANF was one of the best I’ve ever had. Laud is very welcoming and friendly, just like all the inhabitants of Oboadaka, who made me feel part of the community from the very first days. The mosquitoes, which I thought would be the main problem, I actually saw only rarely. However, one must be careful with other animals that can be encountered, but with a bit of attention, you can stay perfectly safe. For this reason, I definitely recommend the experience, and I truly believe it’s one of those things everyone should do at least once in a lifetime.

The tour was amazing! We visited Cape Coast Castle, Kakum National Park, Beyin, Busua Beach, Nzulezu Village, and Elmina Castle. It was truly an incredible experience. A huge thank you to Laud, the best guide in Ghana, for showing us around and making this tour unforgettable. I’m back in Italy now, but I still wish I were on the beautiful beaches of Ghana.

Together with Laud, I visited historical and cultural places in Kumasi and Cape Coast. It wasn't just Ghana's interesting culture, but also Laud's knowledge about Ghana that made the trip very special. We visited the typical tourist attractions and also other places that were not that famous but revealed many interesting things about Ghanaian life (eg Kente Weeving). For everybody who wants to get to know Ghanaian culture and seeks an insightful perspective, I can recommend TANF. Thanks again, bro!

Laud is highly recommended. He had great suggestions for places to visit and at the same time he responded to my wishes and made everything possible. I was able to try incredibly tasty delicacies (vegetarian), go on safari, spent days on the beach, get to know places from Ghana's history and visit markets. The trips were fun adventures. Thank you very very much for the exciting time.

I went out to Ghana to volunteer with TANF for a brief stay of 2 weeks & what a 2 weeks it was... AMAZING ! I want to return immediately... I was greeted at the Airport by Laud himself the CEO of this amazing charity and driven back to the villages near Aburi were we (the volunteers) were staying. The accommodation was fine & the hosts were super friendly and kind. In my 2 weeks with Laud & TANF a lot was packed in, every day I went to work in the local health clinic a truly humbling experience and in my free time Laud drove me around to many places in Ghana. He really puts his heart and soul into this for those who come to stay with TANF. * We went to Kakum National park and walked the tree top canopy wobbly but so cool! * We spent my first weekend in Cape coast were we visited both slave castles of Elmina & Cape coast and saw the surrounding areas a truly powerful moving experience. * Laud also drove me into Accra a few times to visit the city to do some sight seeing and shopping at the famous Makola Market. We spent the Saturday night in Accra and Laud arranged for dinner at Zen Gardens. Here we had an amazing night out with great food and drink and an amazing live African style band!! * Laud also took us to Labadi beach were we chilled chatted and had some beers perfect end to the weekend trip to the city. * I was also taken to nearby town of Nsawam to buy fabric for a dress to be tailored made for me of my design choice by Laud' local Tailor & Seamstress, an amazing job great value for money and a must if you want a bespoke piece of African clothing. * Food, I was never in short supply of food delicious meals prepared and brought to the accommodation to me by Laud and we would also go out to eat in the evenings, tasting local cuisines and Ghana' finest. Welcoming, Friendly, Educational, informative, A truly immersive Ghana Experience one you will not find as a standard tourist. 10/10 Highly recommended so what are yo waiting for ? Get booking 🙂

I traveled to Ghana with TANF Charity Tours and it was a very memorable experience. The country, the people, the food, the experience all left a forever memorable impression in my mind. The experience of volunteering with TANF Ghana through their educational program was also something I enjoyed doing for a month. Part of the profit generated is invested in the education and healthcare program for underprivileged children who could otherwise not be able to afford those. Highly recommend this experience and waiting to come back soo

The one-week trip through the varied Ghana made my three-month volunteering with the NGO TANF perfect. Laud is a great tour guide, with whom you learn to love the country with a lot of fun. A special experience was the drive to the north of the country and the impressive tours through the Mole National Park, where we could marvel at the many elephants up close. I have seldom seen so many cultural experiences, unforgettable experiences and fun during a trip - my most urgent recommendation to everyone! 🙂

I traveled to Ghana with TANF Charity Tours and will forever treasure the memories I got from it. I visited the Kakum national park, Capecost castle, Eliman Castle and spend some time in attraction of Accra. The culture-shock is something everyone needs to experience, it will push you to be a better version of yourself. Being around the people is something I dearly miss. I found myself in a happier and mature spirit after only a month there. Thank you Laud and everyone. I miss you all.

I had a very great experience volunteering with TANF Ghana through their educational program which I was really impress and emotionally felt attached with the kids especially their smiles and humor which will forever be kept in my hearts. I also managed to avail myself on weekend to explore some tourist attraction such as Kakum national park, Elmina and Cape Coast Castle as well as the first cocoa farm in Ghana and the Aburi Botanical Gardens through TANF Charity Tours project. What really inspired me most is the fact that part of the profit generated was invested in their education and healthcare program for underprivileged children who could otherwise not be able to afford. I highly recommend and looking forward coming back next year with some friends

I volunteered with TANF Ghana back in summer 2017, part of this I stayed with Laud (owner of TANF) and he organised a tour of Accra where I saw the main sights, ate out, and learned a lot about Ghana’s history, culture and lots more. Laud is so friendly, inspiring, knowledgable and made me feel very safe as a solo female traveller. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Visited Ghana as a tourist and booked this tour with some friends. This was an excellent tour. Laud takes the time to understand your preferences and builds a personalised itinerary for you! He will take you to the 'Must sees' and also some hidden gems which in our case included a jungle experience, the cape coast and historic sites in Accra. If interested Laud will also show you some of the amazing Not for profit work him and his team do in Accra. Exceptional tour in a beautiful country

I came to Ghana to volunteer with TANF Ghana. During my time, I also had the chance to tour with TANF Charity tours to Cape Coast, Kumasi, Kintampo falls, Mole National Park and Tamale. It was a great experience ! I was able to see all the main tourists attractions. It is also great to tour when you know that part of the proceeds go to the charity (TANF Ghana) doing essential work for youth in Ghana. TANF Charity tours provides a fun, safe (I came to Ghana alone so this was very important to me) and affordable traveling experience. Highly recommend !
