- Day 1
After picking you up from your agreed location within Accra, we will begin the excursion with the National Museum where you can learn about Ghana’s history. Next we will go to the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum. Established in 1992, this mausoleum is dedicated to the prominent Ghanaian President Kwame Nkrumah. Next will be the Independence Square where the annual independence celebration as well as other national events are usually held. Throughout your excursion, you will also learn more about the history of the Gold Coast and get a real feel of the city of Accra. Finally, we will visit the Arts Centre, where you can find beautiful local handmade crafts and proceed to your hotel which is close to Shai Hills.
- Day 2:
We will explores Shai hills resource reserve, the closest wildlife reservation to Accra, which offers hiking and driving routes of various lengths. Once there we will spend some time watching birds, butterflies, baboons, antelope, fenced ostrich, zebra, and bat caves. You will also enjoy the beautiful view of Accra on top of the hills. Then we will drive to Akosombo for a boat cruise under the Adomi bridge along the Volta river. After lunch at Akosombo we will progress to hotel close to the wli waterfalls.
- Day 3
After breakfast We will then visit Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary. Once considered sacred messengers to the gods, the Mona monkeys have been protected by the nearby village of Tafi-Atome for the past two centuries. Finally, we will visit Wli water falls, the highest waterfalls in west Africa, where you will go on 45 minute hiking to the lower waterfalls and end the tour in end the tour at agreed location within Accra.

This was not our first time going to here. It is a great place to shop not too far from Europe. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
